#NonprofitSpotlight: Hope Medical Clinic
What They Do:
Hope Medical Clinic provides a primary care home to working uninsured residents of Okaloosa and Walton counties through two Florida clinic locations. While The Hope Medical Clinic is not a walk-in clinic, they have a program that patients can be admitted into if they qualify. If admitted, patients are scheduled with the volunteer provider(s) that best matches their need(s).
.
Hope Medical Clinic (HMC) provides a variety of medical services including primary care, women's healthcare, prescription assistance, mental health counseling, basic lab work, and more. All of these services are provided by volunteer doctors and nurses who see patients at HMC as their schedule allows.
.
How to Get Involved:
Hope Medical Clinic is always looking for volunteers. Volunteer doctors, nurses, administration, and student provider volunteers are needed. You find more information about volunteering here: http://www.hopemedclinic.org/get-involved
